Markham took their very first bus trip of the year and extended their winning streak to two games (thanks to the Huntsville forfeiture the previous week) as they defeated the home town Collingwood Blues 4-2. The game was simply all Markham and had it not been for the Blues goalie, the final score would have been much more lopsided.

Rob Cundari made his second start for the Waxers and earned his first OPJAHL victory by stopping 24 of 26 shots on the night.

The Waxers got things rolling in the first when Stephen Wong buried his 6th of the year on a wicked wrist shot through a screen, assisted by Andrew Dias and Jamie Wright. The remainder of the scoring was handled by the Ben Cottreau - Ryan Olidis - Jeff Paisley trio. Paisley made it 2-0 when he snuck a wrister of his own past the goaltender on a 3-on-2 rushg (assisted by Olidis and Cottreau). Cottreau then scored to make it 3-0 after being sent down the wing by Olidis and Paisley and blasting a slapshot almost through the net for his 25th of the season.

Collingwood made it 3-1 heading in to the third and Cottreau snuffed out any hopes of a comeback early in the third. After Paisley centered to Olidis and his shot went wide, Cottreau grabbed the loose puck from behind and stuffed it home before the goalie could scramble back to the crease. Collingwood added one more late in the game to make the final 4-2.
