WAXERS TAKE
PRE-SEASON OPENER OVER BRAMPTON

The Waxers opened their pre-season schedule on a positive note with a 5-4
win over the Brampton Capitals at Centennial Arena on Saturday.

Young each scored for the Waxers.
The Waxers, who battled the Capitals to a 2-2 tie through
20 minutes and 3-3 after two periods came through in the final period to
pull out the win.
The two clubs meet again on Friday in Brampton.
The final two exhibition contests for the Waxers take
place in a home-and-away affair with the Aurora Tigers in early September
(September 3rd at home and September 10th at Aurora).
