WAXERS GAIN REVENGE Lawne Snyder, Jimmy Ball and Rob Burrows added single goals for the Waxers, who held leads of 3-0 and 5-0 through the first two periods. The win for the Waxers, now 28-15-4-2, atoned for a 4-2 loss against the Spirit a week ago and came on the heels of a 15-1 lambasting of the host Shelburne Wolves in a rescheduled contest Tuesday.
In that game, Malcolm led the onslaught with four goals while Mike Clarke and Daniel Sisca each had two for the Waxers, who led 7-0 after one period and 12-0 through two. Singles went to: David Colucci, Brett Barrer, Burrows, Rob Mazzuca, Alex Stoyan, Mike Stoyan and Bryan Lachapelle. Goalkeeper B.J. Forsyth also got into the offensive foray by recording six assists. On a separate note, the league announced that Sisca was named the Central Conference Rookie-of-the-Year. Waxers' General Manager Larry Herrington feels Sisca's accomplishment was well deserved. "It's exciting for our program and it demonstrates that the league feels the same way we do about him. He's an outstanding player and I'm happy about that."
