Winning this award is a fitting end to the terrific career Ben Cottreau had in a Waxer sweater. In his three years with Markham, Ben has received recognition in every possible aspect garnering selections to the Future Stars game as a rookie, being selected to the All-Star Game this season, being named South Division MVP as well as both South Division and OPJAHL Top Scorer.  Now a member of the elite OHA Top Prospects, Cottreau can turn his attention to the NHL Draft being held June 26 and 27, 2004 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
