WAXERS DEAL WITH THE TIGERS LANDS MARKHAM A PAIR OF "DUCES" 
The Markham Waxers are excited to announce that Adam Doucette and Derek Doucette have been acquired from the Aurora Tigers. The Waxers knew that in order to gain players of the Doucettes’ calibre, they must give up something of great value in return and as such, in exchange for the brothers, Bobby Fitkin has been traded to the Tigers. The Waxers are extremely sad to see Bobby go and are going to miss his high energy, feistiness, and exciting end-to-end rushes. The Waxers wish Bobby all the best in Aurora and we are sure that he will continue to excite fans around the league.

Adam and Derek are two of the top players in the North Division and were 2nd and 3rd on the Tigers in scoring respectively. The Waxers wanted these players and believe that their additions can push us over the top.

Adam, a 1980 born left winger, is a pure goal scorer who thus far has put up 20-21-41 in 24 games played. He has lengthy experience at the Tier 2 Level and has his scoring touch is matched by his toughness and desire to win. 
His leadership will assist on and off the ice and the Waxers are excited to add Adam to the team and specifically to play along side Kevin Tompkins and Mark Menonte.

Derek, a 1982 born defensemen, has been in the league for 3 years and has blossomed in to a premier offensive force. He has scored 9 goals and 19 assists in 26 games played so far this year. His puck handling skills and ability to quarterback the powerplay is most beneficial to the Waxers. Having played last year in Brampton and Collingwood, he also brings a wealth of winning experience to the squad. The Waxers are very pleased to be adding Derek to our defense corps and believe that he will see most of his action paired with Mark Mitchell.

The Waxers are ecstatic about being able to add such quality players and people to the program and look forward to the Doucettes making their debut on Friday night in North York.
